BENA Properties is the real estate investment and development arm for Cham Holding. Cham Holding was created in 2007 to lead Syria’s infrastructure and investment projects through its four member companies that manage projects and investments across four industries: Bena Properties, Sana Investment, Cham Investment Group and Mada.

Bena Properties is the largest private real estate company in Syria, established in October 2007, with a diverse portfolio consisting of a range of hotels and resorts, master-planned communities, and mixed-use centres with hospitality as the dominant component in its portfolio. Bena Properties is already active in four major Syrian cities: Damascus, Aleppo, Latakia and Tartous and is currently developing several projects in prime locations totalling in area approximately 2m square metres.

Bena Properties has partnered up with the Syrian government to help develop the hospitality sector in Syria, and aims to become the preferred partner to the government in hospitality projects.

By 2013, Bena Properties hospitality portfolio will become the largest in the Levant area with more than 1,200 keys and 26 F&B outlets currently under development.
